Returns that meet our eligibility requirements as below will be subject to a 3.5% Transaction Return Fee effective on all orders placed after August 30, 2020. We regret the implementation of the fee due to changes in policy with our credit card merchant processing service. We do not profit from these fees as they are retained by the merchant processor Paypal on all refunds. In order to avoid these fees, you may request a return for Store Credit and/or exchange.
We are always happy to provide assistance in determining proper fit and/or item styling. As a return option, you may wish to consider Free Exchanges whereas the 3.5% return fee will only be charged on any refunded amount.
Return Policy
We gladly accepts returns of non “Final Sale” unworn clothing items shipped to destinations within the Continental US within 14 days from the date of order. A Return Authorization must be requested within 7 days from date of shipment of your order. Please include your order number, item description, and the reason for return. You will receive the Return Authorization and instructions within 24 hours. The 3.5% return fee as assessed by Paypal is charged on the item(s) purchase price including any applicable sales tax. Shipping fees are excluded.
All Accessories, Jewelry, Handbags, Scarfs, Camellia Brooches and Sunglasses are FINAL SALE items.
Final Sale Items: All items marked “FINAL SALE” are not eligible for returns.
Clearance Items: All items marked “Clearance” are eligible for a store credit return or exchange only. Store credits do not carry an expiration. Please contact us directly to take advantage of making a purchase with a store credit. We will process your order and let you know if any additional payment is due. Store credits cannot be applied to prior purchases.
Exchanges: We offer exchanges subject to the standard return policy. Please contact us prior to returning your item to request an exchange. The item will then be reserved for you and your order will be processed once your return is received. You will be notified of any additional payment due for items of greater value. Partial refunds on items of lessor value will be subject to our 3% return fee.
Return Conditions: All returned items must not be worn, altered, damaged or washed and must have their original tags. You must contact us to request a Return Authorization within 7 days from date of shipment. Please include your order number, item description, reason for return and your email address with your return request. You will receive your return authorization and instructions within 24 hours. The return authorization number must be clearly written on the outside of the package. Shipping fees are not refundable. Refunds are issued back to your original form of payment within 3-7 business days of the return of the item. PLEASE NOTE that all items returned outside of the 14-day return period and/or without an authorization are eligible for our buy-back option only. Smitten LLC is not responsible for the loss or delay of packages being returned and recommend use of a shipping carrier that provides a tracking number and insurance. Any transport costs of returning the item to the buyer will be the buyers will be the buyer’s responsibility.
Odors on returns. Please note that a minimum fee of $28 will be charged for professional dry cleaning on items returned with a perfume and/or cigarette odor, and will be deducted from your net return. We recommend that if you smoke, you select your item very carefully and ask questions regarding fit prior to the purchase to minimize the possibility of the return. We also recommend and that you do not smoke when trying on the garment, and take extreme care not store the garment in any smoking area or environment. Perfume should also not be used, recently applied and/or sprayed in the vicinity when trying on garment eligible for return. There will be no exceptions to this fee for cigarette or smoking odors.
Our return policy applies only to items purchased directly from ChanelJackets.com.
International Returns Policy Smitten LLC currently does not accept returns on ChanelJackets.com purchases shipped to International destinations and/or locations outside the Continental US. Any items returned without authorization will be eligible for our buy-back option only. Smitten LLC is not responsible for the loss or delay of any packages being returned. All transport costs of returning any item to the buyer will be the buyer’s responsibility.
Return requests for claims due to items damaged in transit must include a certification from the delivery carrier along with detailed photos of the damaged package and damages to the item. ChanelJackets.com does not accept liability for undeliverable and/or lost International shipments. To file a claim, please contact us within 3 days of receipt of the item with your order number, item description, details and your contact information.
How do I return an item Simply contact us to request a Return Authorization within 7 days of date of purchase. Include you your order number, item description, reason for return and your email address. You will receive a Return Authorization form via email which must be completed and enclosed with the return. Package the item carefully in the original packaging and return it to us postage paid. We strongly recommend the use of a delivery service that provides tracking information and insurance. Delivery Confirmation for all packages mailed with the United States Postal Service, and insurance for all packages sent by UPS. Smitten LLC accepts no liability for items damaged in transit, lost, stolen or non-delivered returned items.
Refund process A refund will be credited back to your original method of payment approximately five to seven days after our receipt of the return. Please note that it may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement. Most returns refunds will process in approximately two to three weeks, depending on your method of return. Credits will be issued via email.
Store Credits Store credits do not carry an expiration. Please contact us to request a modified purchase invoice to take advantage of a store credit. You may also feel free to make a purchase and your store credit will be credited back to your original form of payment within 48 hours of shipment. Store credits cannot be applied to your prior purchases.
Order Cancellations Order cancellations may be requested within 24 hours of the time the order was placed and are subject to a 3% US and 5% International cancellation fee that is charged by our credit card processing merchant service, Paypal. The fee will apply to the order total including any applicable tax and shipping cost. Your refund will be processed within 48 hours of cancellation issued back to your original form of payment less the cancelation fee.
Buy-Back Option We will buy back any item you purchased from ChanelJackets.com for a store credit within 90 days of date of purchase. Go ahead and wear your item a couple of times, then if you decide it is not your perfect accompaniment, contact us to request a Buy-Back Return Authorization. The returned item should be in like condition as received with no damages, stains or visible wear. Buy-Back store credit are as follows.
- 70% in the first 30 days of purchase date
- 60% within 31-60 days of purchase date
- 50% within 61-90 days of purchase date

Conditions for the Buy-Back
We may refuse to buy-back an item which exhibit significant wear since the original sale. Significant wear includes, but is not limited to, rips and tears, major pulls, stains (including underarm), powerful odors, or excessive wear to edges, cuffs, hems, corners or trims.
Payment is made within 5 days upon evaluation after the item is sent back to us. This way, we can verify the original purchase, origin, authenticity, and condition before the buy-back is completed.
